Aciravata
Person出家生活についてジャヤセーナ王子と交わした会話を仏陀に伝えた沙弥で、これが仏陀に『調御地経』を説かせる契機となった。経中では終始その氏族名アッギヴェッサナで呼ばれる。
A novice who had a conversation with Prince Jayasena on the life of the bhikkhu. Aciravata repeats this conversation to the Buddha who thereupon teaches the Dantabhūmi Sutta (M.iii.128 ff).
The novice is throughout addressed as Aggivessana.
