Person리차비족의 장군이자 부처님의 추종자로, 죽은 직후 도리천에 다시 태어나, 대신 지옥에 태어났다는 나체 고행자의 거짓 주장을 반박하기 위해 부처님을 방문했다.
General of the Licchavis and follower of the Buddha. Immediately after his death he was born in Tāvatiṃsa; he visited the Buddha to refute a statement made about him by the naked ascetic Pāthikaputta to the effect that he had been born in the great hell (Mahāniraya) as a result of having followed the teaching of the Buddha.
