Personအနက်ကြီးအဟိံသာကျင့်ကြံ၍ အသားစားခြင်းမှ ရှောင်ကြဉ်သည့် ပုဏ္ဏားပုရောဟိတ်ကြီးများအနက် တစ်ပါးဖြစ်၍ တပည့်များစွာနှင့်အတူ ဗြဟ္မာဘုံသို့ မွေးဖွားခဲ့သော အတိတ်ခေတ်၏ ပုဏ္ဏားဆရာတစ်ဦး။
A brahmin teacher of a past age, given in a list of six teachers, who were chief priests (purohita). A.iii.373. The others being Sunetta, Mūgapakkha, Kuddālaka, Hatthipāla, and Jotipāla. In A.iv.135 f a seventh name is added, Araka; see also Divy, 632.
They practised harmlessness (ahiṃsā) and, abstaining from eating flesh, got rid of their lusts. As a result, they were born in the Brahmaloka. They had many disciples.
