Sobhita 仏の上首弟子で仏陀の異母兄弟であり、兄弟の Sunetta とともに仏陀の最初の説法を受けた者

The chief disciple of Sobhita Buddha (Bu.vii.21; J.i.35). He was the Buddha’s step-brother, and it was to him and to his brother Sunetta that the Buddha taught his first discourse. BuA.137.
