Person한 비구로, 어릴 때 출가한 밧다와 동일 인물일 수 있으며, 파탈리풋타의 쿡쿠타라마 승원에 머물며 아난다와 올바른 삶의 방식과 사념처 수행에 대해 논의하였다.
Perhaps to be identified with Bhadda (2). He is mentioned as staying at the Kukkuṭārāma in Pāṭaliputta in the company of Ānanda, with whom he discussed the righteous and the unrighteous life (S.v.15 f) and the cultivation of the four foundations of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna). S.v.171 f.
