바라나시 왕 브라흐마닷타의 아들로, 보살이었다. 그의 이야기는 둠메다 자타카에 전해진다.

Son of Brahmadatta, king of Bārāṇasī. He was the Bodhisatta. For his story see Dummedha Jātaka. J.i.259 ff.
