Une des résidences du Bouddha, un bâtiment en bois de santal érigé à Sunāparanta à la demande de Puṇṇa, où le Bouddha effectua la cérémonie de consécration et manifesta le Double Miracle.
v.l. Candanasālā.– One of the residences occupied by the Buddha (SNA.ii.403). It was in Sunāparanta and was built of red sandalwood at the instigation of Puṇṇa of Sunāparanta. When the work was completed Puṇṇa sent a flower as message to the Buddha, who came with five hundred monks and performed the ceremony of dedication before dawn (ThagA.i.158). During the festival, the Buddha showed the Twin Miracle (yamaka-pāṭihāriya) (ThagA.i.312).
