Person바티야(Bhātiya) 왕의 학식 있는 바라문 대신으로, 마하위하라(Mahāvihāra)와 아바야기리(Abhayagiri) 승단 간의 분쟁을 조정하도록 임명되어 마하위하라에게 유리한 판결을 내렸다.
A minister of Bhātiya (Bhātikābhaya?). He was a very learned brahmin and was appointed by the king to settle a dispute between the residents of the Mahāvihāra and the Abhayagiri, regarding the charge brought against Dabba-Mallaputta by the nun Mettiyā. He decided in favour of the Mahāvihāra residents (Sp.iii.583).
