Person간다왐사가 수마나쿠타-완나나의 저자로 전하지만, 일반적으로는 베데하의 작품으로 여겨지는 스리랑카의 장로이다.
A Thera of Sri Lanka, who, according to the Gandhavaṃsa (Gv. p.63), wrote the Sumanakūṭa-vaṇṇanā. This work is, however, generally ascribed to Vedeha (P.L.C.223 f; Svd.1263).
