Devaputta
Place파탈리풋타에서 십오 요자나 떨어진 인도의 도시로, 시하쿰바 사원이 있던 곳이자 루파데비와 칸차나데비의 출생지이다. 한때 부처님의 발우 사리가 이곳에 봉안되어 축제가 열렸으며, 아소카 왕 시대에 이 도시의 왕은 도시와 같은 이름을 지녔다
A city in India, fifteen leagues from Pāṭaliputta. In it was the Sīhakumbha-vihāra.
It was the birthplace of Rūpadevī and Kañcanadevī.
At one time the Buddha’s Bowl Relic was there and celebrations were held in its honour.
The king of Devaputta, in the time of Asoka, was also called Devaputta. Ras.i.25, 34, 80.
