La reine du roi Uggasena, dont la sagesse sauva cent captifs royaux du sacrifice, et qui renaquit à cette époque sous le nom de Mallikā, reine de Pasenadi.

Consort of King Uggasena. The lives of one hundred kings and queens who were about to be sacrificed by a king of Bārāṇasī, labouring under a mistaken idea, were saved by her wisdom. In a previous birth she had killed a ewe and suffered in hell. In this age she was Mallikā, queen of Pasenadi. DhA.ii.15 ff.
