斯里兰卡的一座村落,年少的潘度迦婆耶曾在此藏匿并躲过多次刺杀,后来有五百名青年在此由摩哂陀剃度出家。

A village in Sri Lanka. When Paṇḍukābhaya was young, he lay there in concealment and escaped various attempts on his life (Mhv.x.1; Dpv.x.9). It was near the Cetiyapabbata, and Kuṇḍalī, friend of Dīghābhaya, lived there (Mhv.xxiii.23). Five hundred young men from this village were ordained by Mahinda (Mhv.xvii.59).
