Dīghagāmaṇī

Un prince sakya, fils de Dīghāyu et cousin d’Ummāda-Cittā, qui, après que Cittā soit tombée amoureuse de lui et ait porté son enfant, devint le père de Paṇḍukābhaya par leur union secrète puis leur mariage.

A Sakyan prince, son of Dīghāyu and, therefore, cousin of Ummāda-Cittā. Having heard of Cittā, he went to Upatissagāma and took service at the court of Paṇḍuvāsudeva.

There Cittā saw him and fell in love with him and he visited her by night. When a child was conceived Citta was given to him in marriage.

This child was Paṇḍukābhaya. Citta and Kālaveḷa were servants of Dīghagāmaṇī. Mhv.ix.13 ff; Dpv.x.8 f.
