Ekapattadāyaka
Person구십일 겁 전 한사와띠의 도공으로서 어느 붓다께 정교하게 만든 흙 발우를 공양하였고, 그 결과 이후 항상 금과 은으로 만든 발우로 식사하게 된 아라한으로, 후에 마하쭌다 장로와 동일 인물로 여겨진다.
An Arahant. In the past, ninety-one world-cycles ago, he was a potter of Haṃsavatī, and once gave a well-made bowl of clay to the Buddha. As a result, he always had his food in gold and silver bowls (Ap.ii.444).
He is probably identical with Mahācunda Thera. See ThagA.i.262.
