Ekapattadāyaka
PersonEin Arahant, der vor einundneunzig Weltzeitaltern als Töpfer von Haṃsavatī einem Buddha eine gut gearbeitete Tonschale schenkte und daraufhin fortan stets aus Schalen von Gold und Silber aß; man nimmt an, dass er mit dem Thera Mahācunda identisch ist.
An Arahant. In the past, ninety-one world-cycles ago, he was a potter of Haṃsavatī, and once gave a well-made bowl of clay to the Buddha. As a result, he always had his food in gold and silver bowls (Ap.ii.444).
He is probably identical with Mahācunda Thera. See ThagA.i.262.
