뿝파바티(바라나시)의 왕으로 바사받티의 아들이며 짠다꾸마라의 아버지이다. 짠다꾸마라 자타카 항목을 보라.

King of Pupphavatī (Bārāṇasī). He was the son of Vasavatti and the father of Caṇḍakumāra. For his story see the Candakumāra Jātaka (J.vi.131 ff). He belonged to the Koṇḍaññagotta (J.vi.137).
