Jhānasodhana Jātaka
Jātaka「有想でも無想でもない」という臨終の言葉を残した苦行者（菩薩）の話で、その言葉を筆頭弟子は正しく解釈したが他の者たちは信じず、菩薩自身が梵天界から降りてその説明を確認するに至ったジャータカ。サンカッサで舎利弗が示した解釈に関連して語られた。
The Bodhisatta was once an ascetic who, at the moment of his death, said “neither conscious nor unconscious.” His chief disciple interpreted these words, but the others would not believe him until the Bodhisatta descended from the Brahma-world in order to uphold his explanation.
The story was related in reference to an explanation given by Sāriputta at Saṅkassa (J.i.473).
This Jātaka is probably also called the Anaṅgana Jātaka (q.v.)
