Kakudha (v.l. Kakkata)
Person냐티카에 살던 부처의 재가 제자로, 그가 죽은 후 부처는 그가 가장 높은 천상에 태어나 그곳에서 완전히 열반에 들 것이라고 말했다.
A lay disciple of the Buddha who dwelt at Ñātika. When the Buddha arrived at Ñātika on his last journey, Ānanda asked him what had happened to Kakudha, who was already dead. The Buddha replied that Kakudha had found birth in the highest heavens, there to pass away entirely (D.ii.92).
