Kapinaccanā

Place

웨살리 근처로 추정되는 곳으로, 원숭이와 사람들이 그곳에서 춤을 춘 데서 이름이 유래했다고 하며, 우팔리의 스승인 카삐타카 장로가 한때 살던 곳.

A locality, probably near Vesāli, where lived the elder Kappitaka, teacher of Upāli (Pv.50).

It was so called because monkeys and men used to dance there (PvA.231).

Kapinaccanā may have been a name for the cemetery near Vesāli where Kappitaka (q.v.) lived (Vin.iv.306).
