An ascetic, also called Nārada, who lived in a hermitage near Mt. Kosika in Himavā. He saw Padumuttara Buddha in the forest, invited him into the hermitage, provided a seat and asked for words of advice. He was a former birth of Ekāsanadāyaka Thera. Ap.ii.381.
