Kaṇaverapupphiya
Personएक अरहंत, जो बहुत पहले राजा रहते हुए अपनी बालकनी से सिद्धत्थ बुद्ध तथा उनके भिक्षुओं पर कणवेर के फूल बिखेरते थे, और बाद में चार बार और राजा बने; संभवतः स्थविर बन्धुर के समान ही व्यक्ति हैं।
An Arahant. Ninety-four world-cycles ago he was a king named Gopaka (?), and seeing Siddhattha Buddha, accompanied by his monks, walking in the city, the king, from his balcony, scattered kaṇavera-flowers over them. Eighty-seven world-cycles ago he became king four times (Ap.i.182). He is probably identical with Bandhura Thera. ThagA.i.208.
