Kukkuṭagiri-pariveṇa
Otherමහාවිහාරයේ (Mahāvihāra) සීමා විනාශ කිරීමෙන් පසු කනිට්ඨ-තිස්ස (Kaniṭṭha-Tissa) රජු විසින් ඉදිකරන ලද ශ්රී ලංකාවේ භික්ෂු කුටි පෙළක් වන අතර, පසුව මහාසේන (Mahāsena) රජු විසින් ප්රතිසංස්කරණය කරන ලදී; කුක්කුටාරාම (Kukkuṭārāma) නමින්ද හැඳින්වේ
A row of cells built by Kaniṭṭha-Tissa after he had demolished the boundaries of the Mahāvihāra (Mhv.xxxvi.10).
They were later restored by Mahāsena (Mhv.xxxvii.15; MT.678).
The place is also referred to as the Kukkuṭārāma (e.g., Mhv.xxxvii.15).
