Kukkula
PersonUn enfer de braises ardentes où le roi Daṇḍakī fut réincarné pour son crime odieux, situé près de l’enfer de Gūtha et de la forêt de Simbali.
One of the hells (niraya). King Daṇḍakī was born there because of his heinous crime (J.v.114, 143; ItvA.195).
Sarabhaṅga spoke of him as suffering there, sunk in a mass of glowing coals (kukkula) one hundred leagues deep; huge glowing sparks fall on him and enter his body through nine sores (J.v.144).
Beside this hell are the Gūtha-niraya and the Simbalivana. M.iii.185.
