Madhupiṇḍīka
Person싯닷타 부처님 시대에 사냥꾼이었을 때 숲에서 선정에서 일어나신 부처님을 만나 꿀떡을 공양하였고, 후에 수닷사나라는 이름의 왕으로 네 차례 즉위한 아라한.
An Arahant. In the time of Siddhattha Buddha he was a hunter, and, meeting the Buddha in the forest, he offered him a honey cake, when he arose from concentration (samādhi).
Thirty-four world-cycles ago he was king four times under the name of Sudassana, and at his birth showers of honey fell. Ap.i.136 f.
