Madhupiṇḍīka
PersonUn arhat qui, alors qu’il était chasseur à l’époque du Bouddha Siddhattha, offrit un gâteau de miel au Bouddha en le rencontrant sortir de méditation dans la forêt, et qui régna par la suite quatre fois sous le nom du roi Sudassana.
An Arahant. In the time of Siddhattha Buddha he was a hunter, and, meeting the Buddha in the forest, he offered him a honey cake, when he arose from concentration (samādhi).
Thirty-four world-cycles ago he was king four times under the name of Sudassana, and at his birth showers of honey fell. Ap.i.136 f.
