Mahāsubhaddā2
Person아나타핀디카의 맏딸로, 미혼일 때 이미 예류과를 얻었다. 웃가나가라의 믿지 않는 거사에게 시집간 후, 부처님께 비구 오백 명과 함께 새 집을 방문하여 탁발을 받으시도록 설득하였다.
Eldest daughter of Anāthapiṇḍika. Before her marriage she waited on the monks who came to her father’s house and became a Stream-winner (DhA.i.128; J.i.93). According to the Aṅguttaranikāya Commentary (AA.i.146, 148 f ) she married an unbeliever, a householder of Ugganagara, and the Buddha, at her request, went to her house with five hundred monks (chief among whom was Kuṇḍadhāna) to receive alms.
