Person同名の先代の王の息子で、アッガボーディ九世が継承法を破ってスリランカの王位を奪った際にインドへ逃れ、後にセーナ一世によって殺された。
Son of Mahinda III. When Aggabodhi IX came to the throne, contrary to the laws of succession, Mahinda fled to India (Cv.xlix.84 f). He was afterwards slain by Sena I. (Cv.l.4).
