Personダーマハーラカ出身の比丘で、粥を施す功徳についての説法がサンガティッサ王を感化し、アヌラーダプラの城門で比丘たちへ粥を定期的に施す制度を設けさせた。
From Dāmahālaka. King Saṅghatissa heard him one day teach the merits of giving rice gruel, and thereupon instituted an abundant gift of rice gruel to the monks at the gates of Anurādhapura. Mhv.xxxvi.68.
