Person다마할라까 출신의 비구로, 죽을 보시하는 공덕에 관한 그의 가르침이 상가띳사 왕을 감화시켜 아누라다푸라 성문에서 비구들에게 죽을 정기적으로 나누어 주는 제도를 세우게 했다.
From Dāmahālaka. King Saṅghatissa heard him one day teach the merits of giving rice gruel, and thereupon instituted an abundant gift of rice gruel to the monks at the gates of Anurādhapura. Mhv.xxxvi.68.
