Person대범천(Mahā Brahmā)으로 태어난 생의 보살(Bodhisatta)로, 지옥의 참상을 드러내어 앙가티(Aṅgati) 왕에게 업의 실재를 확신시키기 위해 지상에 내려왔으며, Mahānāradakassapa Jātaka에 전해진다.
The Bodhisatta born as a Mahā Brahma. He helped Rujā to convince her father, Aṅgati, of the truth as declared by her. He came down to earth and frightened Aṅgati by revealing to him the horrors of hell. In this context he is described as belonging to the Kassapa clan. For details see the Mahānāradakassapa Jataka.
