Person카라데발라(Kāḷadevala)의 동생이자 조티팔라(Jotipāla)의 제자인 선인으로, 유녀에게 반했으나 스승 사라방가(Sarabhaṅga)의 개입으로 구제되었다.
A sage, younger brother of Kāḷadevala and pupil of Jotipāla (Sarabhaṅga). He lived in the Majjhimadesa in Arañjaragiri. He became enamoured of a courtesan, and was saved only through the intervention of Sarabhaṅga. For details see the Indriya Jātaka. J.iii.463 ff; v.133 f.
