Nāvā Sutta3
Sutta座礁して放置され、日光と雨で朽ちていく外洋船を、八正道を修める比丘の中で徐々に朽ちてゆく結にたとえる経典。
If a sea-going vessel is left stranded on the bank, it is dried up by the wind and sun in the dry season and rotted by water in the rains — so are the fetters in the case of a monk who cultivates the Noble Eightfold Path. S.v.51.
