Царь Сураттхи (Suraṭṭha) и советник Дхаммасоки (Dhammāsoka), которого голодный дух Нандака (Nandaka), отец Уттары (Uttarā), наставил следовать учению Будды.

King of Suraṭṭha, a contemporary of Dhammāsoka, whose adviser he was. One day, as Piṅgala was returning from Dhammāsoka’s court, the hungry ghost (peta) Nandaka, father of Uttarā, revealed himself and instructed him to follow the Buddha’s teaching. Pv.iv.3; PvA.244 ff.
