Also known as Sāmandakāni, Sāmañcakāni

사리풋타에게 열반에 대해 물었고, 또 다른 때에는 화복에 대해 물었던 유행 고행자.

v.l. Sāmandakāni, Sāmañcakāni.– A wanderer (paribbājaka), mentioned (S.iv.261 f) as having visited Sāriputta at Ukkacelā (Ukkāvelā) and questioned him regarding nibbāna, and again (A.v.121 f) at Nālakagāma, where he questioned him regarding weal and woe.

He is, perhaps, to be identified with Sāmaññakāni.
