Person古代の王で、大いなる布施をなしながらも欲界天を超えることができなかった者たちの中に名を連ねる。死後に強力な神になったと別の箇所で語られる王と同一人物である可能性がある。
A king of long ago, mentioned in a list of persons, who, though they held great almsgivings, could not attain beyond the sensual worlds (kāmāvacara) (J.vi.99). It is probably the same king that is mentioned in the Bhūridatta Jātaka (J.vi.203) as having become a mahesakkha deva after death.
