Personဥတ္တရမထုရာမင်းကြီး Mahāsāgara ၏ သားကြီးဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ဃဋဇာတ်၌ ဖော်ပြထားသည့်အတိုင်း Andhakaveṇhudāsaputtā တို့၏ လက်ချက်ဖြင့် သေဆုံးခဲ့ရသူဖြစ်သည်။
elder son of Mahāsāgara, king of Uttaramadhurā. Upasāgara was his younger brother. Sāgara was killed by the Andhakaveṇhudāsaputtā. The story is given in the Ghaṭa Jātaka. J.iv.79 f.
