Sīhalasaṅgha
Person파간에서 차파타(삿담마조티팔라)와 그의 네 동료 — 라훌라, 아난다, 시왈리, 타말린다 — 가 창설한 승가 종파로, 처음에는 왕실의 후원을 받았으나 이후 스리랑카에서 온 장로들 각각을 따르는 네 개 분파로 나뉘었다.
A sect founded in Pagan by Chapaṭa (Saddhammajotipāla) and his four companions: Rāhula, Ānanda, Sīvalī, and Tāmalinda.
It first enjoyed the patronage of King Narapatisithu, but later the sect split into four sections, each following one of the four elders who had come from Sri Lanka. Sās.65, 66; Bode, op.cit., 19, 23 f.
