Tambapupphiya
Person어떤 죄를 저지르고 숲으로 도망친 장로로, 피야닷시 부처님의 보리수를 만나 그 주변 땅을 쓸고 꽃을 뿌렸다. 아마도 바나밧차 장로와 동일 인물로 추정된다
A thera. Ninety-one world-cycles ago he had fled into the forest, having committed some crime.
There he saw the Bodhi-tree of Piyadassī Buddha, and having swept the ground around it, he scattered flowers.
Three world-cycles ago he was a king named Samphusita (Ap.i.176).
He is probably identical with Vanavaccha Thera. ThagA.i.222 f.
