Taraṇiya
Person過去世で洪水の川を渡る仏陀と僧たちを渡し守ったアラハン。十三劫後にサボーガヴァーという名で五度王となり、サンブータ長老と同一人物とみられる
An Arahant. In a previous birth he took the Buddha and his monks across a river which was in flood. Thirteen world-cycles ago he became king five times under the name of Sabhogavā (Ap.i.204 f).
He is probably identical with Sambhūta Thera. ThagA.i.47.
