Sambhūta
Person不可触民で、チッタの弟であり菩薩の甥にあたる人物。その物語はチッタ・サンブータ本生話に語られ、阿難の前生と同一視される。
An outcaste, brother of Citta and the Bodhisatta’s nephew, whose story is told in the Citta-Sambhūta Jātaka and who is identified as a past life of Ānanda.

Person王舎城のバラモンで、シータヴァナの墓地林で絶えず瞑想したことからシータヴァニヤと呼ばれ、そこで阿羅漢果を得た。かつて神ヴェッサヴァナの保護の申し出を、仏陀の念があれば十分だと断った。
A brahmin of Rājagaha, nicknamed Sītavaniya for meditating continuously in the Sītavana charnel grove, who attained Arahantship there and once declined the god Vessavaṇa’s offer of protection, saying the Buddha’s mindfulness sufficed.
