Thūlatthana
Personサッダー・ティッサの次男。父王の死後スリランカ王として即位したが、一か月余りで兄ランジャティッサに廃位された。その短い治世の間にカンダラ僧院とシリーサマーラカの塔を建立した。
Second son of Saddhā Tissa and king of Sri Lanka (59 B.C.).
On his father’s death the ministers crowned him king, but after a reign of only one month and a few days his elder brother Lañjatissa overpowered him and seized the throne.
Thūlathana built the Kandara-vihāra (Mhv.xxxiii.15 ff) and a cetiya on the Sirīsamālaka (MT.355).
