Timbaruka
Person즐거움과 괴로움의 근원을 논하기 위해 사왓티에서 부처님을 찾아온 유행자로, 모든 유위법의 근저에 무명이 있음을 알고서 부처님의 신봉자가 되었다고 전해진다.
A wanderer (paribbājaka) who visited the Buddha at Sāvatthi and discussed with him the origin of pleasure and pain. The Buddha explained to him how ignorance was at the root of all conditioned existence.
It is said that Timbaruka became a follower of the Buddha (S.ii.22 f).
