Udumbaraphaladāyaka
Personヴィパッシー仏の時代に在家者としてヴィナター河畔で仏に出会い、摘みたてのイチジクを供養した阿羅漢で、後のパッチャヤ長老と同一人物と考えられている。
An Arahant. In the time of Vipassī Buddha he was a householder.
Meeting the Buddha walking along the bank of the river Vinatā, he plucked some figs and gave them to him (Ap.i.295).
He is probably identical with Paccaya Thera. See ThagA.i.341.
