Upasāgara
Person웃타라마두라의 왕 마하사가라의 아들로, 형 사가라의 부왕으로 있다가 후궁 문제로 의심을 받아 도망친 뒤 우파캄사에게 몸을 의탁하고 데와갑바와 사랑에 빠져 결혼하여 그녀와 함께 악명 높은 안다카웬후 형제들을 낳았다.
Son of Mahāsāgara, who was the king of Uttara-Madhurā.
Upasāgara’s elder brother was Sāgara, and when their father died, Upasāgara became his brother’s viceroy. Having been suspected of an intrigue in the king’s zenana, he fled to the court of Upakaṃsa in Asitañjano. There he fell in love with Devagabbhā, and when she was with child he married her and they lived in Govadhamāna.
Their children were the notorious Andhakaveṇhudāsaputtā.
