Vaṅgā
Placeवंग लोगों का देश, जिसे आधुनिक बंगाल माना जाता है, वंग राजकुमारी की मातृभूमि जिसने कलिंग राजा से विवाह किया और सीहबाहु व सीहसीवली की दादी बनी, तथा मिलिंदपञ्ह में समुद्र मार्ग से पहुँचे जाने वाले व्यापारिक बंदरगाह के रूप में उल्लिखित है।

The mother of Sīhabāhu and Sīhasīvalī was a Vaṅga princess, the daughter of the Vaṅga king who had married the daughter of the king of Kāliṅga (Mhv.vi.1 ff; Dpv.ix.2).
The Milindapañha(p.359) mentions Vaṅga as a trading place to be reached by sea.
