Vegaḷiṅga
Place憍薩羅國的一座城鎮，是喬提波羅的朋友伽提伽羅的居所；佛陀在憍薩羅國長期駐錫期間，曾造訪迦葉佛過去教導喬提波羅的那座寺院，並在此宣說《陶師經》。

A township (nigama) where lived Ghaṭīkāra, friend of Jotipāla (S.i.34, 60).
The township was in Kosala, and once, during his long stay in Kosala, the Buddha visited the monastery (ārāma) in which Kassapa Buddha had taught Jotipāla, and there he himself taught the Ghaṭīkāra Sutta. M.ii.45 ff.
