Placeおそらくヒマヴァー（Himavā）にある川で、ヴァナヴァッチャ（Vanavaccha）長老が前生に亀としてかつて住み、ナンダ（Nanda）もかつて住んだとされる。

In a former birth Vanavaccha Thera lived there as a turtle (ThagA.i.58).
Nanda also lived there. ThagA.i.276.
