Avanti
Person佛陀时代四大君主国之一,由性情暴烈的 Pajjota 王统治,他原欲吞并邻国 Kosambī,后来其女 Vāsuladattā 嫁给优填王,两国转而修好。
One of the four great monarchies of the Buddha’s time, ruled by the fierce-tempered King Pajjota, whose plan to conquer neighbouring Kosambī gave way to a marriage alliance when his daughter Vāsuladattā wed King Udena.
