Avanti
Person佛陀時代四大君主國之一,由性情暴烈的 Pajjota 王統治,他原欲吞併鄰國 Kosambī,後來其女 Vāsuladattā 嫁給優填王,兩國轉而修好。
One of the four great monarchies of the Buddha’s time, ruled by the fierce-tempered King Pajjota, whose plan to conquer neighbouring Kosambī gave way to a marriage alliance when his daughter Vāsuladattā wed King Udena.
