칼야니의 티사 왕의 아우로, 왕비의 정부가 되었다가 발각되자 수도에서 도망쳐 후에 그의 이름을 딴 지역에 살았으며, 승려로 변장한 남자를 통해 왕비에게 편지를 보냈으나 그 계략도 발각되었다.
